Desert & Delta Safaris operates as a collection agent for Chobe Impact, an independent not for profit entity. For every full paying bed night booked in a Desert & Delta Safaris property, US$5 will be added to the invoice as a discretionary donation (“donation”) to Chobe Impact. Chobe Impact applies the funds to projects making a positive impact in the key areas of education, community empowerment, research, and conservation. Desert & Delta Safaris commits to match each donation from its own profits. Should any guest be unwilling to make the donation, they shall request for it to be removed in writing prior to booking confirmation. Donations are noncommissionable and non-refundable post booking confirmation.

Private activities must be booked for families with children younger than 12 years old at the daily private activity rate. To ensure guest safety, we reserve the right to amend walking and mokoro activities, where applicable. This is done at the discretion of Camp Management and Guides.

Upgrading to a specialist guide for any Botswana booking is a wonderful opportunity to add value to an existing Desert & Delta Safaris itinerary. NOTES: • All bookings with specialist guides must be booked in conjunction with private activities. • If the booking already qualifies for a private vehicle then the private vehicle rate does not need to be charged. 5 full paying pax per booking qualify for private activities, subject to availability. Please note this applies to vehicles that can take a total of 6 pax maximum. For bookings with more than 6 pax, please contact your reservations consultant for an accurate private activities quote. • Please note the policy is taken on a case by case basis and differs from Desert & Delta Camps and Chobe Game Lodge. • All requests are subject to availability of guides’ movements. • Specialist guide bookings include the guide’s transport & accommodation throughout their booking unless otherwise clearly stated. Extra transfer and accommodation costs (due to availability) will be advised at the time of booking. • Helicopter add ons for BODDS packages and other value adds are not included for specialist guides and any additional host experiences/ transfers will be charged accordingly. • A specialist guide must be booked for a minimum of 3-nights.
