Time: Directly after breakfast This is a 2-hour outing. We drive 10km to get to the “koppies” were this unique and special site is. PC takes you on an educational walk along the koppies. Up to 166 Koi were shot in this area in 1775. See some Koi tools and artefacts from the Boer war.

Sunset drive to the Hippo pool, see hippo and buffalo. Times: Summer: 17H00 – 18h30 / Winter: 17h30 – 18h30 The last remaining hippos in the Karoo and the Northern Cape were shot and killed in 1778. 200 years later, PC reintroduced Hippo by releasing a small breeding group of hippos in 2006. View the only population of Hippopotamus in the Northern Cape while enjoying a sundowner.
