The Chobe Princesses sail on scheduled weekly departures every Monday (two-nights or four nights), Wednesday (two-nights) and Friday (three-nights).
To board the boats you depart from Kasane Immigration office in Botswana on the Chobe River, where you exit Botswana to go aboard the Chobe Princess Safari Boat which is based on the Namibia shore of the river. You will have a short boat transfer to Impalila Island and walk approximately 250m to the Namibian passport control to officially enter Namibia. You will then walk back to the river and take a boat ride to board the safari boat.
At the end of your stay you will follow a similar procedure, exiting Namibia on Impalila Island and entering Botswana at Kasane Immigration.
