Kuzikus is a traditionally game-rich part of the Kalahari that was developed into a wildlife reserve with lodge and today enjoys the status of a private game sanctuary which is accredited by the Namibian State.
For the past 40 years as family business, we have been able to combine tourism, education and research directly with conservation projects. Thereby we strive to conserve aspects of ecological integrity in the Kalahari ecosystem.
Offering only 7 rooms creates the luxury of space and privacy. We also offer 3 Tented Camps with ensuite bath within the Kalahari, 1.5km from the lodge as selfcatering units.
Our guests experience the Kalahari ecosystem on a very individual basis and have plenty of opportunities for activities, to relax and to gain first hands insights into research and conservation projects in tailor-made programs guided by members of the host family.
Visiting us at Kuzikus also supports us in running the governmental Black Rhino Conservation project on the reserve.Kuzikus is a traditionally game-rich part of the Kalahari that was developed into a wildlife reserve with lodge and today enjoys the status of a private game sanctuary which is accredited by the Namibian State.
