Offbeat Safaris

Offbeat Mara is a small, traditional safari camp, situated within the 74,000 acre Mara North Conservancy (MNC). The area is full of wildlife yet far from any other camp or lodge.  MNC is only open to member camps and has a strict policy on game viewing etiquette.  For these reasons our guests get a wholly exclusive experience that is otherwise becoming hard to find.

The latest addition to the Offbeat Portfolio, Offbeat Ndoto opened in September 2021. With just four tents in the exclusive Mara North Conservancy this camp is the ultimate in game viewing, privacy and our customary Offbeat hospitality.

Offering stunning views across the Offbeat Valley each well-appointed luxury double safari tent has a veranda, sitting room, bedroom and shower room with fully plumbed hot and cold running water. Our beautifully designed Mess Tent offers delicious homemade delights, plenty of ice-cold drinks and a campfire for many a safari tale. Down on our secret island lunches can be enjoyed under the shade of ancient Sycamore Fig trees whilst the Olare Orok River bubbles past. Sosian Lodge, nestled in the heart of the Laikipia Plateau, offers an unforgettable escape into the wild beauty of Kenya's highlands. This exclusive lodge, set within the sprawling 24,000-acre Sosian Ranch, blends luxurious comfort with the untamed wilderness of Africa.
