Golden Sands Apartments are the first of the convenient self-catering options from Sol Resorts. The complex comprises of four modern apartments, two on the ground floor and two on the upper level, each with stunning sea views. There are also two self-contained chalets, ideal for couples. Each air-conditioned apartment has two en-suite bedrooms, a spacious open plan living area & kitchen & is stylishly furnished & accessorized. The chalets are one large round room with a double bed and a single sofa bed, with a separate fully fitted kitchen and shower/toilet.

There are several dining options in close proximity to Golden Sands – Casa Rex’s a la carte restaurant less than 5 kms away is one option – there are also other hotel restaurants nearby & a couple of more casual sports & beach bars. You can always choose to buy fresh seafood from the local fishermen and prepare it for yourself!

Vilankulo serves as the gateway to the marine paradise of the Bazaruto Archipelago. The clear blue waters play host to a myriad of ocean life and there is a wide variety of water sports available including scuba diving at one of the top spots in the world, snorkeling and deep sea fishing. The well-loved traditional dhow trips around the islands leave from Golden Sands. Kite surfing for the adrenalin seeker is also on offer, & kite surfing lessons can be arranged. The on site management will assist in organizing activities for guests on request.

Deacra Villas:

Deacra Bungalows:

Bush and beach meet at Deacra to provide a special environment. Each spacious bungalow is situated in a private garden with a swimming pool and barbeque area. There are three twin bedrooms en-suite, easily accommodating six adults &, if required, 2 children additional. The lounge area leads out to a covered patio where pre-dinner drinks and meals can be enjoyed.

Deacra’s private stretch of beach is accessible via a walkway. The newly graded road allows for quick access to nearby restaurants, shops and other amenities. There are a wide variety of activities & watersports on offer in the area, with optimal conditions for diving, snorkeling, fishing & more!
