The Enclave is on a small island just off the south-western edge of Chiefʼs Island, deep in the heart of the Okavango, and bordering Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is accessible only by light aircraft. On arrival, guests will be welcomed to the island by their private guide, who will remain their guide for the duration of their stay.
The camp is a small, comfortably appointed place. Oddballs’ Enclave can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests, in five twin or double bedded mini-Meru tents, making it a classic and intimate camp. The tents are on elevated wooden decks, each with a semi-detached private bathroom with an al fresco bucket shower, and hot and cold running water. The Enclave is the perfect destination for a small group or family to spend time together.
The guest areas have a variety of comfortable seating arrangements and a raised viewing deck overlooks the sweep of the Delta – the perfect place to watch the sun or moon rise and view whatever wildlife may be visiting. The molapo that extends beyond the camp is, depending on the time of year, covered with water or entirely dry. Either way it is often filled with breeding herds of elephant, buffalo or a small family of kudu that is local to the island. Meals are enjoyed on the deck with spectacular views across the floodplains to the distant island forests.

The principle underpinning Delta Camp is that the Okavango was, in its prehistoric form, pristine, and that every intervention comes at a cost to that pristine natural and cultural environment. Delta Camps vision strives to consider every action and to understand that each has a mitigating factor and a concomitant benefit. With each ‘pro’ weighed carefully against its ‘con’, they offer guests the highest standards of comfort consistent with the pure elegance of the environment itself.

The Savuti is a region within the heart of the Chobe National Park that is tucked away from the peak season crowds at the Chobe riverfront. It is the remote homeground of Camp Savuti, positioned on the banks of the dry Savuti Channel and close to the famous Savuti Marsh.
Camp Savuti epitomises the Botswana safari experience. From rewarding game viewing opportunities to the authentic tented accommodation, this is the traditional way to spend time in one of Africas most superb wildlife regions. The Savuti Marsh, fed by the Savuti Channel, has developed a reputation over the years as one of the world’s premier predator viewing areas, boasting one of the highest concentrations of wildlife on the African continent.
The area is renowned for its large population of bull elephants and visiting Camp Savuti offers the chance to witness the interaction of the resident predator population. Famed for being the home of the elephant-killing Marsh pride of lions, the bloodline is still evident in the area. To be in the company of the most well-documented lineage of lions and to observe their sheer power, is amazing. These lions have had to adapt to extremely challenging conditions and are therefore notably dominant and powerful.
Camp Savuti is an intimate camp of 5 Meru tents accommodating a maximum of 10 guests in true bush comfort. The tents have been positioned to ensure privacy and a modest level of exclusivity throughout the camp. Each tent sits on a platform, with views over the Savuti Channel. The tents are large and spacious with en-suite facilities and views from each deck.
