Hosted by a wonderful team, Ant’s Hill safari lodge has an open and friendly atmosphere which creates a home from home feeling. Built on the edge of a cliff, it enjoys breathtaking views, with spacious rooms and vast folding doors. The thatched roof of the lodge helps it blend into the bush, while exotic furniture and brightly coloured African fabrics make it both sophisticated and comfortable. The separate cottages are uniquely designed and the individual bathrooms are spectacular, offering guests sunken baths and waterfall showers. Set in boulders on the edge of the cliff, the heated swimming pool enjoys a fabulous panorama across the reserve, encouraging you to relax there in between your horse rides. Ant’s Hill can cater for up to 16 guests and can be booked non-exclusively or exclusively by one group at a time. Laluka is a small family-owned and operated luxury lodge in the heart of Welgevonden Game Reserve in Limpopo, South Africa. We strive to have a low impact on the environment and offer an unforgettably personal experience of this incredible corner of the world.

Set on the banks of the 1.7km lake, this thatch and stone lodge provides a memorable blend of luxury and wilderness with the awe-inspiring Entabeni Mountain as a backdrop. The bedrooms are linked by thatched walkways to the reception, restaurant, conference room and boma. Spacious double/twin rooms are complemented by sundowners on your own private deck with the ever-changing colours of the Entabeni Mountain reflecting in the lake. The hippos at Lake Entabeni are a site to behold and the viewing deck provides the perfect setting for spectacular views over the lake.

Leobo Observatory is set in a private 23,000 acre game reserve within the stunning and malaria-free Waterberg Mountains of Northern South Africa.

Always booked exclusively, the house sleeps up to six adults and four children, and there are nine guest chalets on the reserve that can be utilised for larger groups or private staff. Leobo is not about safari. It's the holiday after your safari. Activities include R&R, picnics and alfresco dining, hippo camping, quad biking, horse riding, bass fishing, target shooting, helicopter paint-balling, and phenomenal astronomy from the research grade observatory dome.

Leobo launched in May 2013 and has won Best Safari House in Africa in The Safari Awards every year since. In 2017 and 2018, Leobo was awarded Best Family Safari Experience in Africa. 

Staying at Kololo is truly an adventure: you are surrounded by the African bush where wild animals roam free. Kudu, wildebeest, impala, warthogs regularly cross your path, running past the terrace of your chalet or villa looking for food and water. And you can walk and bike freely in the reserve, coming eye to eye with the animals.

The accommodation consists of 15 chalets en villa’s that offer space to 2, 4 or 6 persons. All beautifully situated in the bush or the parklike landscape. Each accommodation has a private shower and separate toilet per room, a veranda and a fully equipped (outdoor) kitchen, including tea/coffee facilities and of course free wifi.

Camp Ndlovu is situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, a  34,850 hectare stretch of exceptionally beautiful scenery amid river ravines and mountains in the Waterberg district of Limpopo province. The Game Reserve is malaria free and home to Africa’s world famous Big 5.

Welgevonden offers a truly unique big five safari experience. As if the reserve’s beautiful and varied topography and its wealth of wildlife were not enough, the ban on private vehicles within the reserve and the heavily restricted number of guests – combined with the fact that the animals have never been hunted – means you’ll have the kind of up close and personal encounters that you will remember for a lifetime.

Located under the shadow of Entabeni Mountain, this thatched wooden lodge is built on stilts and hugs the cliff’s edge, offering magnificent views of unspoilt ravines and wooded hillsides. The lodge offers double/twin chalets, leading onto open sundecks where guests can indulge in bird and game watching and experience the grandeur of the ravine whilst listening to the rippling sound of the water from below the valley. Honeyguide Ranger Camp is located in the Entabeni Safari Conservancy, rightfully dubbed “The Place of the Mountain”, which is in the World Heritage Waterberg Biosphere. Approximately a three-hour drive north of Johannesburg, this 22 000-hectare malaria-free reserve boasts five eco-systems.
