Returning to the roots of safari, where sustainable intimate mobile camps move in symbiosis with the great migrations, the Siringit Migration Camp brings five-star luxury to the mobile safari experience. Our beautifully designed Bedouin-style canvas tents open to the diverse landscapes of the Serengeti National Park. In the south our camp consists of 8 tents, in the north we have 10 tents.
Designed with elegant simplicity, the Siringit Migration Camp moves in symbiosis with nature migrating with the herds from the spectacular Mara River crossings in Northern Serengeti to the calving season in the Southern Serengeti.
With the affirmation of the Earth's resilience to renew, restore and nurture a respect for nature, our seasonal tented camp is conscious of its carbon footprint. The impact it has on the environment as a seasonal camp, migrating with the herds, will be limited.
The Siringit Migration Camp has been made in Tanzania using locally sourced and recycled materials. The stretched canvas panels have been cut, handstitched and custom-designed to bring you closer to nature. As canvas boundaries between man and nature fade away, the vast expanses of the Serengeti wilderness inspire a sense of peace and harmony.
The migration camp was launched in August 2021, and gives guests exclusive access to viewing the abundance of wildlife in the area – a front row seat to the Migration.

The open plains of the Lamai Wedge are incredibly beautiful and abundant in game. The landscape is reminiscent of scenes from Out of Africa, and there is plenty of freedom to roam and explore. The camp is situated opposite Crossing Point 4, midway among all crossing points along the river – and is perfectly positioned to spectate the wildebeest river crossings. Away from the river, this area of rolling savannah, boulder-strewn hillsides and fig-tree groves, is littered with inconceivably enormous herds of wildebeest, topi and zebra – as well as all the predators that gorge on this movable feast. Needless to say, the game-viewing we have access to is world-class. Cheetah, lion and elephant especially make for fantastic sighting, but it’s not unheard of to see the Big Five in a day.

The camp is closed from April until the end of June each year.
‘Intimate Camp Zebra’ has been operating in the Serengeti for the best part of two decades. The main emphasis of the activities available at the camp is the viewing of the extraordinary Wildebeest migration which is one of the "Seven Natural Wonders of Africa" as well as the single largest mass movement of animals on the planet. That said, there are many other forms of wildlife and birdlife which can be viewed during the course of game drives in most parts of the Serengeti National Park and these are further enhanced by some of the most spectacular nature to be seen anywhere on the African continent. Depending upon the location of the camp at any given moment, guests are also able to participate in Balloon Safaris although arrangements for this need normally to be made prior to their arrival in Tanzania.

Internationally renowned for the greatest wildlife spectacle on the planet, The Serengeti National Park located in north west Tanzania is the ultimate ‘wildlife show’ on earth. Across the globe authors and filmmakers have come to document the Annual Migration of hundreds of thousands of animals, but there is still only one way to understand and experience the true magnificence of this natural phenomena and that is to be part of it.
Serengeti Migration Camp is the embodiment of the ‘camp’ experience. Located next to the famous Grumeti River which is home to resident hippos that bark and wallow their days away, Serengeti Migration Camp has become synonymous with low-impact high-action game viewing in a landscape that is untouched since the dawn of time.
Hidden among the rocky outcrops Serengeti Migration Camp is located at the starting point of the Migration. Comprising of 20 luxurious elevated tents, each with spacious and richly furnished bedrooms, Serengeti Migration Camp blends seamlessly into the environment.
Each of the tents is surrounded by its own 360-degree verandah deck, which in turn creates your very own private sanctuary to enjoy the constant game sightings and the ever-present sounds of the bush.
The main tent has a split-level lounge, a swimming pool, restaurant and viewing platforms that offer views across the river and the rugged landscape beyond. But it is the drama and proximity of the wild, which takes the experience of this camp to an altogether higher level.
Whether it is walking safaris with experienced and highly knowledgeable guides or the sensation of being as close to nature’s daily fight for survival, the sensory feast that accompanies any visit to Serengeti Migration Camp will no doubt rival anything experienced before.

Having opened in October 2018 in the fabulous Eastern Serengeti, Lemala Nanyukie matches the same outstanding standards of comfort and service as the other properties in Lemala’s luxury collection, which includes the Serengeti’s Lemala Kuria Hills Lodge and Lemala Mpingo Ridge in Tarangire together with Hamerkop House by Lemala in Arusha.
Meaning ‘endless plains’ in the Maasai language, the Serengeti is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas. Lemala Nanyukie is located a 60-minute drive east of the Seronera Airstrip in the park’s central region, and is superbly located with outstanding views across these fascinating ‘endless plains’. The camp itself sits on a grassy savanna dotted with rocky kopjes and shaded by ancient giant acacia trees.
This area of the Serengeti is crossed by the thrilling wildlife spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration, but also has high-density game-viewing at all times and is well-known for its large concentration of cats, so much so that until recently this area was set aside for scientific research into predators, especially cheetah. As such, Lemala Nanyukie is open year-round, and safari activities like game drives and walks will be accompanied by Lemala’s highly-knowledgeable and experienced guides.
Grumeti Serengeti Tented Camp is set on the banks of an oxbow lake formed by the Grumeti River and nestled among tall evergreen trees on the water’s edge. The surface of this pan of water is cloaked with a vivid green layer of water lettuce that helps to shade resident hippos from the intense African sun and provides a playground for wading birds.
Accommodation is provided in 10 flamboyant tents tucked under shady palm frond roofs.
Communal guest areas boast colourful open-fronted sitting and dining spaces and domed bar, all adorned with Yoruba beaded artifacts. The spacious decks and lodge pool are perfect for you to relax with sundowners while enjoying views over the river.
As night descends, camp buildings and paths are lit by flaming torches and lamps. Tempting scents from the boma entice and attract. Traditional fires, jikos and outdoor ovens produce mouth-watering aromas and meals with a backdrop of the sounds of the African night. Romantic private dinners at the swimming pool can be arranged for any special occasion.
The Camp provides a unique vantage point to enjoy the sight of the vast masses of the Great Migration making their dramatic river crossing. At the right time, the sight of two million wildebeest and zebra as they trek across the vast Serengeti plains in search of new grass is astounding.
Twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles offer you many sightings of resident wildlife.
The morning game drives begin as the sun is rising and the nocturnal predators are ending their nightly hunts. There is always the chance you might see a pride of lion lingering over last nights kill or a leopard relaxing on a branch where it has wedged its prey.
The smaller denizens of the bush come to life as the daylight hours make it easier for them to spot any predators still on the prowl. In the late afternoon, sit in the midst of antelope, buffalo and elephant as they make their way down to the river, either singly or in herds, for a last, refreshing drink.
Dozens of species of birds abound in the area.
When the Great Migration moves through the Grumeti area, game drives will concentrate on the massed herds and the various carnivores that accompany them. You may be fortunate enough to witness the wildebeest crossing the Grumeti River, where some of Africas largest crocodiles lie in wait.
From balloon safaris and photographic adventures, to romantic sundowners and breathtaking scenery, Grumeti offers you an exceptional wildlife experience.
